Week 2 Survival and Camping Summer Camp: Learn all about Spears

In today’s society we are often told to be careful and not to play with that. We do however need to learn to use things which may be dangerous if we do not use them properly or in a sensible way. The students learned about making spears from bamboo and the use of spears. They also learned how to hold the spears in a safe way and to respect that the spear can hurt yourself, others and objects around us. We had a great time in the park spearing water balloons after completing our bamboo spears.
